The photos posted here are all the work of Linda Bladen, a versatile Los Angeles based artist who is both a painter and a sculptor.   Linda is the daughter of designer John Shelton, one of the founders of Berggren, Shelton Traynor, an Illinois giftware manufacturing firm. Born in Chicago, she was rasied in an atmosphere saturated in art and creativity. Her talent manifested itself early on and was nurtured by encouraging parents. Linda majored in art at West Liberty State College and studied at L'Universite Aix-Marseilles, Avignon France, Ohio University and Scottsdale Artist School with Tuck Langland of the National Sculpture Society. Linda was a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Sculptors and on the board of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists when she live in Pennsylvania. Her work has received awards, been shown in numerous shows and is displayed in public spaces as well as private residences.
